Love came to visit me,
But finding me busy,
She had to flee,
I was silly?

At fourteen, I was shy,
Solitude was my friend.
Love came to spy,
But found no shed.

At twenty one, the academic touch was lit,
She sought for another chance.
Had fallen to the academic pit.
And she fled at once.

At twenty eighty, my powers seem mighty.
Miracles happen.
Love says, follow me matey,
Am your captain.

Leading me away,
I wander in her byways,
I am seeing no help for it,
And I thus sit down to write.

Love came to visit me,
But finding me busy,
She had to flee,
Was I silly?
