A spreadsheet tells what must be done,
But seldom makes the spirit rise;
No numbered cell can fully paint
The better world behind our eyes.
Describe tomorrow clear enough
That tired hands can see it near;
Give hope a date, a shape, a road,
And courage finds another gear.
The leader does not merely order,
But lends the future voice and form;
A vision shared becomes a shelter
Built before the coming storm.
